show 003 - rock me amadeus!
Our least-edited show yet! We go through baseball moves, basketball insanity, Thomas Dolby, a little tennis, a little football, and a little inappropriate question time. Of course, we kick things off with a classic tribute to Mozart.

Super Bowl thoughts . . . halftime edition:
1. The low scoring is not due to bad offenses; these are great defenses. Seattle's defense continues to impress me. Like Pittsburgh, they are a "collapse on the ball" defense and don't miss tackles.
2. Bad call on the Darrell Jackson pass interference.
3. Did anyone see my boy Jimmy Edmonds on the ESPN Mobile commercial? Still the best center fielder in the game.
4. Great play by Big Ben staying behind the line of scrimmage to get the ball to Hines Ward. That may end up being the play of the game.
First, appologies to all for the delayed show this week. We thought we could make this Super Bowl primer happen this morning, but that obviously didn't happen.
Second, some quick SBXL thoughts:
-We have now gone two consecutive years without a halftime nipple-slip. The AFC team is 1-0 when a performer exposes him/herself at halftime.
-Vegas is laughing all the way to the bank. Who could possibly have taken the under on this game (the line was 46.5; under by 15.5)? And Seattle failed to cover the spread like I failed to make a 5min mile in school.
-Roethlisberger looked lost during much of that game. Hines Ward deserved that MVP because he is the only reason Big Ben didn't curl up into a fetal ball after two picks and a 1-for-4, three straight 3-and-outs start.
-Where was that Alexander in the first half? Might have done some good early, methinks.
We'll have some podcast up tomorrow evening, with any luck.
